Always tremendously suspicious to me when these "Just FYI this school is bad" posts show up right around when people start filling out applications...

I mean, this person could have kept it three paragraphs shorter and not mentioned application season at all if they wanted to seem remotely low key.

No one is doxing her but she’s trying to be an influencer who overshares to the extreme for click bait. She’s also on DCUM (because her posts will match her Tik toks) so I assume she’s on this thread. She should stop showing her kids and talking about them if she’s concerned about this (if it were me I would be but I’m not a big social media person).

There used to be a hugely popular YouTuber in the MS. Like millions of followers but they had to pull the kid out of school because of crazies and homeschool (and the crazies were not SSSAS, just crazies from wherever in internet land). It was nuts.

I’m not naming any names even if I think you should be more cautious trying to get paid for being an “influencer” and showing your kids. The YouTuber kid was in my kid’s advisory and it seemed like they experienced a lot of harsh problems related to their YouTube channel (again, not from SSSAS people, don’t think SSSAS parents even knew they were huge on YouTube) so I don’t want to add to it even though they’re not a current family.

Also the original poster made many errors. Sssas HOS is a female. And the previous MS head was also a female. So I don’t know what that OP is talking about.

I agree that yes, the SSSAS magas are annoyed. They should probably go to catholic school.

To clarify - the MAGAs at SSSAS are annoyed that the school is progressive. So they should leave.

DC is a junior, and we have not found the school to be right-leaning. It’s certainly not radically left, but it’s not conservative.
