It's called trauma. There is no reason to doubt his story.

This.

Attorneys have much much more incentive to suck up to big law than defend an individual, who in addition is apparently from a random family. At some point, connections and success intersect and he is not yet at this point.

I am sorry, but you are going to have to explain yourself. What the hell are you talking about? If someone rants and raves like a lunatic and says they suffered a traumatic situation then that means that you automatically have to accept everything they say as true? Is that what you’re saying?

This did not happen.

Plaintiff-side employment attorneys are not sucking up to biglaw. Most of them really believe in their work. Maybe he found one of the very few that doesn’t and apparently was actually conspiring with Covington, but it sounds pretty outlandish.

+1

If ANY plaintiff-side attorney thought they could win this case, they would pursue it. The fact that it’s not being pursued says everything.

This is very messy. I feel bad for him. Seems like he is having a mental health crisis and it is playing out on Linked-In. Doesn’t mean Covington hasn’t done something, but he does not appear to be a super reliable narrator (DJT, his President, is going to intervene in this?).

Oh please. Of course there is.

That’s your opinion. People don’t go public to fight against powerful institutions unless they have a substantial grievance.

Oh word? Guess we can repeal the Prison Litigation Reform Act then.

It looks like his LinkedIn posts and his entire account have been deleted. Hopefully he is getting the help that he needs.

This thread is indicative of the problems in modern society. Anyone who has read his rants would be clear there is a mental health crisis going on with psychosis involved. It’s tragic for the guy going through it, but that doesn’t make “his truth” reality.

You don’t understand trauma. - A social worker

Neither would a social worker.

Nope -- if you had said unless they are nuts I would agree.
