Agreed. It's been over five years. He has some mental health issues but that's likely not going away. He's taken the appropriate steps to try and help minimize the impact his mental helath has on her and others.

Are you his friend? How do you know this? My impression is that his mental health issues are significant and dominate both of their lives.

We know. Many of them are receiving a significant amount of support through special education programs. Many others are struggling through life with few resources, financial or otherwise.

Yes, and their kids suffer for it. They are not a couple who values education. Look at the Beckhams - neither of the parents went to university, and three of their four kids have finished high school and none of the three have continued their education. Supposedly Brooklyn is a very sweet guy, but ... not the brightest. A well educated population is important.
