| An aunt is "in town" (ie, in Harpers Ferry) for a few days, and wants to meet somewhere between downtown DC and Harpers Ferry for lunch Sunday. We'll have our 11 month old with, but I know nothing about this area. Looks liek Reston or Leesburg might be our best mid-way points. What's a no-fuss relaxed place for a good Sunday lunch? (Brunch options nice but not crucial. Lunch options crucial) |

The Lightfoot Restaurant in Leesburg is wonderful. It is in the heart of the historic district. www.lightfootrestaurant.com
|
| I like Blue Ridge Grill in Leesburg. |
|
Fireworks or Tuskies in Leesburg, Vintage 50 is o.k.
Ford's Fish Shack in Ashburn is excellent for brunch or lunch Mon Ami Gabi and Community Canteen are good for brunch in Reston TC, Il Fornaio is good too, some people still like Market Street |
| Really like PP's suggestions. I do love Mon Ami Gabi. |
| I wouldn't do Tuskies with an 11 month old. Blue Ridge Grill is very good. |
| Sweetwater Tavern in Sterling, which is between Reston and Leesburg. |
| We ended up at Lightfoot. The food was fantastic but I wouldn't do again with an eleven month old. He was quiet, but I felt like the staff was watching and anticipating a meltdown at any minute. |
Really? Tuskies has a huge brunch buffet on Sundays. Plus, every time I am there which is often kids are there. |
