Some sort of memorial was held at Pretti's hospital. There was a picture posted of a hospital hallway with 20 people lined up in scrubs, some crying, that was captioned as a rememberance moment for Pretti before the work day started.

Gentle and respectful. Clearly very refined and civilized.

I also think Walz is a disaster who needs to resign. He fanned flames by encouraging civilians to hit the streets and fight back ICE. How can he possibly encourage everyday Minnesotans to impede on armed agents? Ice is as federal as the National guard.

If Trump hadn’t sent ICE to terrorize the city, two of the protesters would be alive.

Can you think of any other ways they might still be alive? I can. Most people can. Millions of people can.

Protesting injustice is as American as Apple Pie.

Throwing tea in a harbor is not the same thing as a violent protest

Destruction of property, duh. Value would be equivalent to $1.7 million today

Now that it’s out that it was a retaliatory hit on Alex Pretti it seems even worse.

That’s where the sworn affidavits and eye witness accounts are helpful.

On a separate note, I’ve been thinking about the “what did he expect showing up armed to a protest” argument. I’d be very surprise (for instance) if protesters yelling at women and sometimes the police or others helping them access abortion clinics have never been armed with concealed carry guns. Should those protestors also murdered without due process since they should know what to expect? I’d love to see fewer guns in America (and feel my children are far more at risk from something like a school shooting than from an undocumented person) but under current laws concealed carry - whether or not you are protesting at the time - is a right in many states.

That’s clearly a computer-made video.

That’s clearly a computer-made video.

Snopes already debunked this video as AI

I agree. I always assumed Alex may have in some way been obstructing ICE. I think that means they could arrest him. So why didn’t they?

Sorryy--wrong video. Thisnone may be legit, but it doesn't help their case. Just make them looks like they were out for revenge...

That was a moment of silence the next day.
