Does anyone know where I can find a list of Montgomery Co. high school college acceptances? None of the schools seem to have anything on their websites. |
I would be interested as well. |
See links at the bottom of this page:

OP here. Thanks for the info on WJ. Do all the schools have this info somewhere on their websites? |
The WJ page also has acceptances for all of MoCo. Don't know if other schools have this info on their Web sites. I just happened to come across this page one day. |
See Bethesda magazine this month. Has a lot of data. |
Is that the July-Aug issue or the Septmember one? Thanks |
Sept. It's very detailed. |
They publish this chart every year, so theoretically you could get some back issues and actually try to see if there are long-term trends. Data is self-reported so who knows how accurate, but as a future BCC parent, previous issues have made me feel quite encouraged! |
Caveat: Most colleges take a limited number of kids from each school. So, your kid could be in the top of the class and still not make it into "the college" if the high school is hyper-competitive and filled with over-achievers (ie: the top high schools in the county). |
I would add, if the class has legacy kids, those will get in even if they did not do as well as your kid. |
It is my understanding that the influence of legacy is diminishing. Unless you have contributed thousands of dollars of course. |
