They won’t go bankrupt because no one will file that class action lawsuit. Period. However, it is a fact they lost (they’re losing) dozens of players left and right. Boys and girls. Let alone the rec program - which is a terrible thing because that program alone was massive and brought in mountains of cash. Karma? Maybe. Poetic justice? You could make a case. The fact is people haven’t really backed down on their sentiments just their intensity or willingness to express themselves online. Their google rating has dropped substantially. Any family that signs up for rec in the future with this amount of info publicly available is just because they don’t know what went down or they’re simply into sadomasochistic experiences. And that is what I suspect will deal more damage in the long run than a law firm putting them out of business. Apparently two board members have been professionally asked to leave/resign (I thought captains remained in the cabin when the ship is sinking? Maybe titanic was just appealing to emotions with that scene) and word is their coaches are heavily pushing for those supplemental tryouts on their social media pages to help the club regain the void created by departure of players by the dozens. As a kid I heard a lot this phrase: “time puts everyone/everything in their place.” We may be witnessing the universe working in such proficient fashion? |
| People will stop caring in a few months and certainly by the end of the year. It's not worth driving an extra hour to some other nearby club just because you dislike Loudoun soccer. |
Nice try LS employee. That’s what you and your club want. Doesn’t seem to be going that way, though? In fact, doesn’t the Leesburg area have several options besides your corrupt entity? At the top of my head I can name Leesburg FC, FCV, Virginia Revolution SC, BANV. If you are looking at a 20-40 min radius I can name Sterling YSA, Herndon, Vienna, GFR, CYA, ODFC, SYA, SYC, FC Dulles, Arlington, McLean, BRYC... willing to stretch it out a bit? Then you’re looking at VSA or PWSI or LMVSC or Alexandria or FYPC... yeah, like you don’t have options. my guess is people don’t dislike Loudoun. They dislike what Loudoun represents and embodies, amiright? |
Wouldn’t go to Alexandria if you don’t like getting robbed. |
Haven’t sent anything about them. What have they done? |
| So. Loudoun just started sending bills for the fall. NOW the true test starts. How many will or won’t pay? |
You have to be kidding. They haven’t even finished their “supplemental tryouts”. How much they charging? |
Many of Loudoun parents like to eat c0ck so go figure They have to be able to post on their social media how cool their kid is because they’re at Loudoun y’know |
Is Loudoun really that cool? They go 5 teams deep at some ages. When I see a kid with a Loudoun Soccer anything on I presume they are either Rec or on the 4th team. “Cool” never enters my mind. “Sucker” does though. |
LOL |
Ouch. |
|
Providing opportunities to kids who are still developing, as opposed to cutting younger kids before they get a chance to improve?
Yes, that actually does seem cool. |
Being mean is lame, being nice is cool |
You’re probably the parent of the “in crowd” with your child in upper teams. Or more likely another employee patrolling the thread. As a parent of a former player who will not return to Loudoun and having gone through the different ranks/colors for several years I can assure you all they care about is ecnl and red. Black kind of receives a little bit of attention because they’re the feeder for red which in turn feeds to ecnl. The remaining 3 teams are just cash providers. You’re not fooling anyone. Well, maybe the newcomers. And yourself. |
