School is back in session.
There will be blood on the platforms after roving mobs of teens descend on innocent metro commuters. Just wait. |
Well, if the blood isn't drawn by the roving mobs, then it's from the angry passengers who get on the tracks after their train is stalled for an hour

| I hate that my daughter still lives in DC. She is an ESE teacher and loves her school and her kids. She teaches in a school that is rated among the lowest and she feels strongly that she can make a difference. Unfortunately, she'll learn that she can't. I just hope she doesn't get hurt in the meantime. I'm proud of her, but there are high needs schools in safer parts of the country. |

Paying a $2500/month to live in a 100-year-old shithole with rats in the walls and surrounded by feral animals that will blow your head off for a nickel if they think they can get away with it.
You gotta hand it to all the filthy rich urban developers that live in McLean, Potomac, Bethesda, etc. What a con job. |
I live in Va, but I am pretty sure you can get better than that for $2500. |
She almost certainly can make a difference, at least for a few kids. And she will probably be fine. |
I live in Va, but work in DC, and often go in for weekend activities. Its really not that bad. |
As a parent, "probably" doesn't sound very reassuring. |

4 women attacked near Georgetown in separate assaults:

but hey, diversity is so awesome! |
Then you shouldn't have become a parent. There are all kinds of dangers, everywhere. There are no guarantees, anywhere. Just somewhat different odds. |
