Why have the "curb alert" posts about free children's equipment/furniture been removed?

I posted one in General Parenting. It was removed. I posted again, in Off-Topic, thinking that maybe it was removed because of being in the wrong forum. It too was removed. I did not put it in the For Sale forum because the items were free.

They were removed because the messages were not topics for discussion, hence not appropriate for discussion forums. The best forum is the for sale forum (which has other posts for free items in it).
