Feedback on Howard Hospital Child Development Center

Hello,

Does anyone have experience and/or feedback about the Howard University Hospital Child Development Center (on the corner of 5th and T Streets, NW)? Thanks!

Why do you want to know? Are you planning on sending a child there? There is a long waiting list

I'm not necessarily planning to send my son there, but I did put in an application. It is only a few blocks from my house. I spoke with the Director to find out how long the waiting list is and she said after they staff up, it may not be long before they have openings for a 2 year old. I have no idea how long that means, but in the mean time I thought I would seek feedback and try to determine if it is somewhere I am interested in.

I am curious too about Howard Univ. Hospital CDC. No no has feedback???

As you probably know they are right in the middle of switching management and are now going to be run by Bright Horizons. As of about two months ago when I visited they had an interim director, and I was told that they had virtually no waiting list though perhaps I was misled. Because they were in the midst of changing management it was hard to know what to think of the place, and also not clear whether anyone's past experiences would be very relevant, but I also would appreciate anyone's feedback.
