I will never buy a jar of Justin's chocolate almond butter again..must only get packets

The stuff is like crack. Somehow I can handle just eating a 1 serving packet, but give me a jar and it's not pretty. I just ate close to half the jar and I feel sick. It felt so good while I was eating it-like chocolate frosting but less sweet.

One thing that annoys me is that neither on the packaging or the website does it say whether or not to refrigerate once opened.

I guess you didn't have that problem, OP b/c it doesn't sound like it lasted that long.

Yeah, I noticed that too, but I assume if it has to be refrigerated they are required to put it on the label.

The packages are so expensive, but worth it for people with little self control like me. I like that at least I am getting the health benfits of almonds from it, but I have consumed enough fat to last me the week even if it is healthy fat. Something about looking at the open jar of chocolatey goodness takes away all self-control. It's like a sea of chocolate fudge. The packets don't make it look as good as that open jar. Must never buy a jar again!!!!

At least they don't sell two big tubs of it for $9 at Costco like they do with Nutella.

that's why I stopped buying nutella! Something about pulling back that gold foil just means that every. single. time i walk through the kitchen I MUST stop and dip something in there... bread, pretzel stick, finger...
Yum. Now I want nutella. Good thing I'm at work.

I've never had the chocolate version, but I am addicted to Justin's Maple Almond Butter. I never refrigerate it after stirring.

The plain stuff is just as bad....

Funny, I feel the same way about retinol products-put 'em in one a day capsule. That way they and I don't go bad.
