I think it would make the most sense for highschool to be concurrent 1st quarter to allow time for everyone to be vaccinated. Then 5 days a week after that. For lower grades, concurrent 1st semester perhaps? Younger kids won't be vaccinated until 2022 according to Fauci.

I do think they will need to be concurrent even if it's 5 days concurrent. Once kids are vaccinated they should all have the option of returning to school full time in person. Anyone who doesn't want to return once vaccinated or given the vaccine option can do virtual Virginia.

No no no

We can’t keep moving the fauci goal posts. Especially on vaccine. Kids deserve school whether vaccinated or not. And vaccines shouldn’t be required and virtual a punishment.

Everyone here has lost their damn minds. Kids are in school everywhere without vaccines!!!!!

Genuinely curious: how many US school districts do you think offer regular in-person school as of right now?

Somebody posted some information on one of the other boards that said 5 days in person was maybe 20%?? Not positive the of exact number but it's something like that.

Percentage is districts offering:

K-5: about 55% full time
6-8: about 39% full time
9-12: about 35% full time

The majority of school districts offer full time learning to elementary. More offer full time to middle and high school than offer only remote. Why would fall need any hybrid?

Do you have a website for these numbers? I just read online that nationwide 28% of the schools are in-person 5 ays a week. (Hybrid is 19%, remote is 53%)
