Do you ever look at a "hot" celeb and realize they aren't really attractive?

In recent pictures he looks like he is wearing a hairpiece.

No that’s your mom

Such a dumb retort. (But I chuckled)

I don't get it.

Well, probably in a country of 333 million people we could find about 100 men and women who are both beautiful and very talented actors. Casting directors used to look for them. (For me, Diane Keaton and Cybil Sheppard and Helen Mirren and Lauren Bacall and Vivien Leigh, and Natalie Portman, etc. all come to mind from the top of my head as both beautiful and talented.) But nowadays, if they did that, it would make the nepotistic hires like Beanie Feldstein and Kristen Stewart look especially awful.

Diane Keaton has horse teeth. I have never understood why people think she's beautiful. Funny, yes, but not beautiful.

She’s beautiful to me. Taste is subjective.

Of course. That’s why this thread is stupid. I doubt we could even find one “perfect specimen” who everyone agrees on.

For me, usually the “perfect specimen” are sorta boring, because I prefer a little quirk. Some uniqueness makes people more interesting to look at.

For example, Cameron Diaz has a uniqueness that I find appealing (but others find clownlike, apparently). Margot Robbie otoh might be “ideal” to some; but to me she looks like a few other actresses and I sometimes mix her up with them. She’s obv very pretty but I’m kinda meh.

Jaime Presley had Margot Robbies face first

Chalamet is the textbook example of how the right hairstyle can turn an ugly duckling into a swan.

Variation on a Your Mom joke. Nothing deeper.

Rihanna. It's funny because I think she has a lot of sex appeal but she has a big head lol

I stood next to Michael Keaton this winter at a crosswalk in NYC. Dude is like 5 ft 4.

Ron Livingston - very handsome guy onscreen. I saw him in person and he's still handsome, but he looks like a guy that looks like Ron Livingston, but not as good looking. His face is much more angular than it appears onscreen and it looks slightly distorted.

Ashton Kutcher and Justin Timberlake. Not only unattractive but also the most insufferable, corny, and painfully unfunny personalities.

The only time I ever thought Justin Timberlake looked attractive was on his first solo Rolling Stone cover. I assumed Photoshop was involved in shrinking his nose.

Blake Lively is meh at best. She's had her nose refined and teeth done. There is nothing 'hot' or 'smoking' about her. Average at best face wise and that's after being cosmetically enhanced. She has small beady little eyes too.

Most of them.

He's gross.

People who love him really fell in the love with the character he played.

Another example: Sam Heughan of Outlander. His character is amazing...and he looks super hot in character (especially in season 1 with that wig). IRL he is very average (and unappealing). But he does have an amazing body.

I think that's a good example. Irl out of character he looks pasty and blah, yes. Same with Matthew Rhys from The Americans. Very average man, but I had such a crush on his character! As for Jennifer Aniston, I think she was very attractive younger but she has done too much work to her face. Britney Spears did as well.

Because he has such a tapered jaw, his neck looks wider than his head in a lot of pictures.
