This is exactly it for me! Chicos, J Jill, and Talbots make me feel old just walking in the door. Just a mental thing more than an opinion on the clothing. In the mid 90s I remember Chico’s and J Jill both having lots of really nice, natural fabrics. Last time I walked in they seemed all about the polyester and stretch. |
Pricey, but cheaply made. It’s all my late first MIL wore the last two decades of her life. Seams coming apart. Tiny holes in the fabric. Fading from a few hours outdoors on a sunny day. |
I love Chicos but they are adding a lot of crap. You need to wade through racks. Quality has gone down but not anymore thanall others, |
If you are into dowdy off colors then don’t go here.If you think English prep is for everyone stay home.
Chicos is for self assured independent women that don’t want lock step fashion |
Chicos is for the plus sized. I'm 5'6" and 105lbs and I can't wear anything there. |
I used to hate Chicos. I can tell I'm getting older because now I find a lot of their clothes very appealing. I know an older woman who dresses almost exclusively in Chicos and I have to admit - she always looks very polished and put together. |
