No Kings 3 on March 28

DP. As for nuanced — if you actually attended a protest you’d find people with pretty nuanced views. Sure, you’d find some un-nuanced people, bc they’re everywhere. But you’ll also find tons of deeply thoughtful people who can hold multiple truths at once. It’s pretty cool, actually.

Anyway, attend or don’t. See for yourself, or don’t. Be informed about who’s there, or simply mock caricatures of people from your keyboard.

Up to you! Whatever feels like your best life, I guess!

There's a reason protests are also called "demonstrations." They are a way we telegraph, yes to people oppressing us, but more importantly to each other, what is millions believe.

Overthrowing the current regime will help in the very short term but it'll just eventually be replaced by another billionaire regime until we can tackle the root of the problem. The root of the problem is money corrupting our political system to the extent that our major political parties have become too weak and dysfunctional to serve their purpose as intended.

Get to the root of the problem! The Trump era would never come to existence in an adequately functioning political system!

Who says that isn’t the plan? You seem intent on being cynical. Congratulations, you are doing exactly what authoritarians want. Sucker!

How is tackling the root of the problem so that we don't have another Trump in a few years "cynical"? You sound like one of those MAGA fruit loops whose shoe size is greater than their IQ. Crawl back under your pedo rock.

In cases people want to watch any of the protests at home, there are plenty of YT channels providing live feeds from around the country.

Just do a search with something like "No Kings Protest Live" and dozens should pop up

Some live feeds:

What exactly is the claim by this one random guy who doesn’t happen to be personally affected?

Never mind, I don’t actually care. See you at the protest.

Yeah, random guy gets to have his opinions. WSJ gets to publish them as opinions. Shrug.
I’ll be doing one of the smaller protests. It’s good energy. It’s also networking, strategizing, and building a political community.

Democrats ARE the root of the problem. Unchecked wide òpen immigration, acceptance of crime, pushing for reparations through inter-generational guilt and reverșe racism and bigotry, working tirelessly to silence dissent to their party views, outright statism, and weaponizing gov against the citizenry.

As awful and dysfunctional as the Dem Party has become, the nomination of Trump in three consecutive general elections puts the GOP ahead in the race to have most to do with the root of the problem. This is an undeniable fact.

I'm not talking about dysfunction in the dem party. I'm talking about dysfunction in the govt as an appendage of the DNC.

Break it. Harder.

You can't blame anything on the DNC without acknowledging the RNC as equally corrupt and equally part of our long term political party. They are friendly cousins behind the scenes.

Sadly. It also doesn't reach congressional leaders!

I see the protestors as turds complaining their water is dirty, not realizing they are the cause of the stink and filth in America. I have nothing but disdain and a smirk. March away!
