Except that those big corporations contribute a great deal to the GDP and the people who couldn't pay off their student loans obviously contribute little as they aren't working and can't repay their loans. |
If you didn't understand what you were borrowing, you are not college material. You should have gone into a trade for the uneducated. |
We borrow fake money printed out of thin air by the Fed which then gets paid back with interest to private bankers. What a racket. |
When people borrow money, they believe the other side will uphold their side of the agreement. Thankfully, Biden did with the first tranche of forgiveness. |
Typical Democrat ploy to buy votes…..utterly worthless. Anybody seeking genuine change would target the fundamental flaws in the system to drive systemic, sustainable change. Forgiveness is the dumbest form of politics as usual |
Stupid post |
a) 18 year olds rarely grasp the magnitude. b) People think education = jobs = money = ability to pay off. c) Many jobs REQUIRE degrees. Even jobs that shouldn't. d) the loans are predatory and are given out willy nilly. This allows people borrow and borrow and permits colleges to continue to raise tuition. If you've paid it off and still have thousands left over in debt, which are not dischargable, why is this allowed? e) Corporations claim bankruptcy and get their debts wiped ALL THE TIME. Corps get subsidies. Farmers get subsidies, including to NOT GROW certain things. No one is bent out of shape over those. Only the working class folks who could get a small break. You all are a bunch of sheep. And corporate shills. And you don't even know it. |
Ah….one of the deadbeat beggars. |
A vote for no one was a vote for trump. Congratulations. |
You bitter people act as if it’s your money paying it off. |
The 2024 Trump voters represent the least educated voting block in the history of the county. Are you surprised that they are mad at people that went to college? We’ve been making fun of them forever and now they finally get to stick it to those evil people that can read. Why do you think they love to ban books? Because they are jealous of the people that can read them. |
Hey, here's an idea: for the cost of a few F35s, we could send a whole bunch of people to college for FREE.
But nah, that's too socialistic-y-ish, like universal health care. I got mine, eff the rest of you! |
Shut up. Since you are so hung up on what we “signed up for,” I should no longer be legally required to pay. I have paid the full balance of my loans probably twofold for over 25 years. But because of dysfunctional loan servicers, I am still being billed and it is business as usual. Biden tried to solve this problem for long term borrowers like me, but some MAGA jerks had it blocked. There are a lot of circumstances and situations at play and a lot of grey area. But some of you are too mean, simple, or stubborn to educate yourselves on this issue before spouting all of your selfish, stupid nonsense. |
Maybe don't pay the interest only part of the loan every month for 25 years. Simple home econ 101. |
Haha. I enjoy seeing your frustration and knowing Trump will force you to start paying a large chunk of your salary again. |
