thinking about renting a moonbounce for my 3-yo birthday. anyone has any suggestion? we're in Arlington. tks!

I don't have any suggestions but if you are hosting only a small handful of kids, you might want to consider buying a small one fro Toys R Us. We bought one with a slide and it has been a huge hit. It is much smaller than the rentals, but for under $200, you get to use it as often as you like. Takes minutes to inflate. Wouldn't recommend for kids over 5 or 6 years old and i wouldn't want more than 4 -5 kids in it at a time.

Have you thought about a place like Pump It Up? The cost may be the same as renting a moonbounce and party, as it would be to have it somewhere.
Hello. I think that the slides for 3 year olds are pretty cool. I have seen them alot during the summer. There big inflatables that the kids climb to the top to and slide down into a pool of water. The kids loved it. Have fun. |
We've rented twice (although not in the past year or two) from Leaps & Bounds: http://www.gojumps.com/ We were pleased with their service.

Another option since you live in Arlington is T.E.A.M. through Arlington County. You can rent a moonbounce and there are other services they provide too like face painting and I believe they used to offer balloon animals (not sure if they still do). This is only offered to Arlington Co. residents though. Here's the link: http://www.arlingtonva.us/departments/ParksRecreation/teens/ParksRecreationTEAM.aspx

We are renting a moonbounce for my son's birthday in a couple of weeks, from NV Moonbounce. They are based out of Manassas, I think. The smallest moonbounce is $99 and i think you can keep it up to 8 hours. Obviously I can't tell you yet about the service, but the reservation process (on the internet) was very easy and I get a quick and friendly response.
We rented one for my 4 year old's party and you couldn't get the kids out. I the place we used was Bounce n Pounce in VA. The owners were wonderful.
craiglist has rentals and they seem pretty cheap.
i second craigslist- i saw them for $55 for weekend..
We've used Astrojump for years -- they have the big moonbounces (including ones with slides). They are big enough that the parents can try them out too (not that I would do that...). www.astrojump.com
Most of the ones on craigslist are for the smaller moonbounces that you can buy from Toys R US. You can rent for about $50 or buy you r own for about $150 |

We used backyard inflatables. They were great. They set up and took down the moonbounce.
