daycare for 18-month-old this spring

My family and I will be moving to Washington in late March or early April. Our daughter will be 18 months old, and we are looking for full-time daycare for her in Northwest or on Capitol Hill. Does anyone a) know of centers with openings for this age or b) have suggestions for how to go about finding one? It's definitely overwhelming doing this from across the country!

The home is on Capitol Hill, and there are 3 other children there currently. My daughter has been there since she was 3 months old and she, and my husband and I, love it. Alternatively, if you go to dc.gov, and poke around, there is a link somewhere on the city's website to licensed daycare providers in DC.
