This makes me want to vomit. At this point, people buying useless stuff at this time.. have no heart. |
U.S. cattle farmers will be psyched about this! /s |
And I guess we're supposed to cheer and celebrate Trump "solving" the problem that he himself created. |
Trump is such a mess. Prices are not going to come down and the U.S. looks weak and stupid. Now he’s rolling back more tariffs retroactively. The move continues a shift away from Trump’s maximalist tariff policy. When the president announced his reciprocal tariffs this spring, his economic team insisted there would be no exemptions to the levies. They later relented, removing duties on certain items not produced in the U.S., or available in sufficient quantities from domestic suppliers to meet demand. The newly exempted products on Friday, however, include many products commonly produced in the U.S.—such as beef, which has risen to record prices in recent months. The tariff reductions are retroactive to 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, according to the order. https://www.wsj.com/economy/trade/trump-implements-major-rollback-of-food-tariffs-f575c75d?gaa_at=eafs&gaa_n=AWEtsqclN6kEZ2Nc36gsQPJC-2fr0wYHN42FBaKA8VaKna63O9O6ftcois3XZje89eo%3D&gaa_ts=6917fbec&gaa_sig=a1Tm2_S0jwGQTr_UuWiAVqICcGoXHE-lEe_wOgxvB9JeV9-bi6o_VWj-C6uZ_NnqyihdQrqRFhv83YDJ9UB8-A%3D%3D |
Forever solving problems he caused and no other problems. |

Poor Bubba Blower

The number of Americans living paycheck to paycheck has now risen to 71%. They do not have money for a 401(k). What's needed is: Higher wages Cheaper rents Cheaper groceries Cheaper childcare Cheaper healthcare Cheaper transportation Lower energy bills And so on. That means less profiteering by the kinds of billionaire people who laugh over dinner and drinks with Donald Trump. |
They also got Rolexes and gold bars for free. |
This. We live in a kleptocracy. Also, this “rollback” will not lower prices. |
|
Trump isn’t interested in helping MAGA or Americans in general. He is interested in personal gain, familial gain, and then friends and donors gain.

| Costco has filed a lawsuit against the government. It’s seeking all the tariff money the company paid to the government. I think Costco is the first, and so far only, S&P 500 company to sue the government over the tariffs. More to follow now that the CEOs are beginning to see blood in the water. |

I love Costco, in more ways than one. |
