College interviews during spring break college tour?

We're doing the traditional college tour with DC this spring break. Because we're visiting colleges that are a bit far, in Boston for example, would this be the time to squeeze in college interviews? Or should that wait for the summer or even fall, possibly with local interviewers or over the internet for some colleges.

Check the policies of the colleges. Some don't want to do interviews until junior year is complete. And some of the competitive colleges don't do on campus interviews. Also if you don't know if you are going to apply an interview may be premature. If it were California it might be a bit more compelling but Boston is pretty easy to revisit if needed.
