Is yogurt considered a liquid?

And...can you transport re-packaged olive oil internationally? My overseas family purchases bulk olive oil from Greece and Id love to bring some back with me when I visit them in Germany.

The yogurt thing depends on the particular airport screener you get in my experience. With regard to the olive oil, I'd try to ship it if I were you.

I think in terms of airport security there is a high risk that they will confiscate both oil & yogurt.

You can put the olive oil in your luggage, just make sure it is in something absorbent, because if not, they will take it from you. I just mailed some from Greece to US, I don't know if it went thru yet, but so far so good.
