Can you put a filter on the site that won't let people post if they are over 100 miles away?

This is technically infeasible. Though I do agree that many of our trouble-makers are long distance visitors. I've blocked two such posters in the past 24 hours.

But then where would those moving in from flyover country be able to find real estate advice? Someone has to point them toward the $350,000 SFHs with updated amenties, half-acre yards, quality schools and 20-minute commutes we're all hiding inside the Beltway.

What gets one blocked? (Not that I'm hoping to get myself blocked). Do you block people merely for trolling?

Generally, I only block people who show an ongoing pattern of disruptive posting. I can respect a talented troll as much as the next guy, but I have no patience for untalented ones.
