I didn't know we included summer ball at the NHSLS as hardware nowadays.

I guess PVI can finally beat their chest for winning a summer tournament. They are the only team in the DC area (maybe next to Gonzaga) who takes summer and fall ball way too seriously.

IAC dad to Yorktown dad: “NHSLS is big time this is where the real teams play. Prove yourself at this event. Show up it is a
Major event.”
-IAC team loses to WCAC
“Summer ball is over rated”

Really? You don’t know what you are talking about. Take a look at the Capital teams. They have many public school girls going D1. Maybe not always to top schools academically or athletically but definitely D1. Langley for instance routinely sends girls to D1 programs, recent grads and current students to Michigan, VA Tech, Penn, Yale, Louisville, etc…

The title may have “boys” but the above poster said “ few to zero PEOPLE get recruited out of public HS to play D1 lacrosse.” That statement is demonstrably false. And no one said anything about Capital B teams. Capital teams generally send girls from public schools to play D1lacrosse. Fact.

Any links to watch the Va. boys' state finals, esp. 6 and 5?

NHSLS White Session kicks off this morning. The field is loaded (based on teams participating, it certainly looks much stronger than the Red session). The following DC area teams are participating today / tomorrow.

1. SJC
2. Gonzaga
3. Landon
4. Episcopal
5. St. Stephens
6. STA

The point is, this thread is about boys. I would imagine the recruiting process is different for girls in general.

You are correct. Simple math says its much easier to get a spot on a college womans lacrosse team.

If you really want your girl to get a scholarship, have her start playing golf.
