I am currently in the process of locating a predominately Jewish preschool, that has a strong athletics program as well a rigorous academic program. Location does not matter.

You did say preschool? Just checking to make sure you didn't actually mean "private school"? (Sincere question, not rhetorical, BTW.) I ask because you will find that most preschools don't have "rigorous academic programs"; most will be developmentally appropriate and play-based, not academic, which isn't appropriate at that age. And preschools won't have athletics programs either, unless by that you mean lots of time on a playground.

Oops, I did mean private school. I am also looking at pre-schools. Too much school research in my life right now.

By predominately, do you mean a Jewish day school? There are several in the area, JPDS, JDS. I don't think there are any other schools that are majority Jewish.

There are temple-based pre-schools and day cares, and then there are the two afore mentioned day schools.

Insert joke here (says a Jewish poster who can tell you that 3 players at this year's All Star game were nominally Jewish)

I wasn't trying to be funny; I really don't know of any predominantly Jewish Schools with strong athletics. Don't know of any Quaker ones either, come to think of it. The schools with strong athletics seem to be single sex or Catholic. Make of it what you will.

Your only NOVA choice is Gesher. They do have a soccer team. I can't imagine Gesher is even large enough for a strong athletic department - great school, though.
