They conspired to fool Alec and they did.

I doubt they fooled Alec. Plenty of men really don’t care about anything besides the woman being hot, nice to them and having their babies. She checks all of those boxes. Also Alec has many skeletons in his closet. They are a good match.

I would agree. Alec actually has many #metoo incidents in his background and CAA (as they do) have buried them. Calling his daughter a pig was indicative of how he feels about women. But I will say Alec is fooling himself because facing how stupid he is and what a fake his wife is is just too much for his ego to bear.

Without this thread, just in the context of her never ending posting, it was cringe worthy. In the context of this thread, omg.

I did hear her give an interview last year (where she happened to be accent-less compared to most mom-brain episodes) where she mentioned how she met Alec. She did say she had just called out to the universe setting an intention to find love. It seemed so very odd. At least with the insider info we've been granted by our DCUM-friend, it makes sense!

The thing is, this happens in a LOT of second and third and more marriages. They don't want to admit that they made a mistake, so they go on about their spouse as if they are perfect.

Well this is an interesting thread! I always knew there was something off about her but I couldn't put my finger on it. And Alec is just delusional. He always has been. Couple years ago, he talked about running for mayor of New York. He confuses the characters he plays with his own abilities. He wants a political career but he's reduced to playing a politician on television. It gnaws at him. No wonder he defends her and ignores that he's married to a charlatan who is using him.
