I never got an answer. Who are the people on committees sending legislation to Frumin to vote on? Are they just randos off the street? |
|
Odd. I see council members on those committees. The committees that draft legislation. It would seem council members do more than just vote on legislation. |
Stop apologizing for poor performance Crime has gone up because of DC Council Policies that Frumin supported. As the Ward that pays the most taxes to DC, Ward 3 residents have every right to demand policies that promote safety and ones that don't lead to skyrocketing -- yes, skyrocketing -- crime. Ward 3 crime went up and people are fed up with idiocy. Times are different now and people regret voting for Frumin and voters have learned from mistakes of the past. |
The other 7 Wards have to be absolutely euphoric over the possibility of another four years of Frumin. |
Skyrocketing is serious hyperbole. And I think Ward 2 property owners pay more in taxes than ward 3 income tax. |
Why kind of skyrockets are you talking about here? I don't see anything in the crime trend for Ward 3 that depicts what is conventionally considered to be a skyrocketing trajectory: https://www.crimedatadc.com/ward And no one particular part of the city gets more say in city business because they pay more taxes. That's not how democracy works (or at least should work). |
According to that link, Ward 3 crime peaked in 2023 and has come down since. I guess we should all be thanking Frumin then? |
Crime is UP in 3F where most voucher residents live. |
It's gone down from the insane bloodbath of 2023, but is nowhere near a tolerable level and is significantly higher than a decade ago. There is also tons more chaos and lawlessness that does not show up in crime stats but is unmissable any time out in public in ways that were unheard of in the 00s and 10s. |
Did it go down or did it appear to go down? https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/justice-department-to-investigate-whether-dc-police-manipulated-crime-data/3977022/ |
+1. Everything of value is now locked up. Stores now have to pay for private security. Crime is artificially down. When police doing overtime get called away for emergencies the stores get looted. Ask the staff at the Cleveland Park CVS. |
"chaos" "lawless" Drink! The hyperbole is off the charts. |
You realize this is everywhere, right, not just ward 3 or DC. |
Yes, but we are specifically talking about Ward 3 and our inept representative on the council, Matt Frumin. He behaves as though he could not care less about the crime issue. |
