They'll need to learn to entertain themselves then.

Social media has ruined this generation.

It sort of did though, kids and teens are so addicted to screens, they don't want to do anything else and parents let it happen.

Do you know any teens? This is not my experience at all.

It seems like yesterday when Trump threatened to shut Tik Tok down after Tik Tok teen influencers embarrassed him by buying all the tickets at a Florida rally but hardly anyone showed

I am not a TikTok user so this is a genuine question--why are people so invested in it staying?

Is it that different than Instagram or YouTube etc? I've heard there's a more favorable pay structure for influencers although I don't really know what that means. What about the end user--why are they so upset? It seems like most of the content is recycled on Insta and YouTube shorts.

The vibes on TT are different. The comment section is unmatched. People are wittier. I laugh a lot.

And the lives have been the best source of information in crisis events.

I guess Trump decided popularity trumps the country’s best interests. It will accelerate our demise. China is winning in so many ways.

Still waiting for someone to explain what’s so great about TikTok that makes the security risk worth it. I’m not a huge fan of social media generally but truly don’t understand why people are tying themselves in knots over this.
