How is it backfiring exactly? So Trump makes money from donors that he’s going to spend on lawyers and not on actually getting Republicans elected?

That’s the kind of backfiring I like to read about. I hope Donald continues to siphon off donations from GOP electoral activities, although they have more dark and foreign money thanks to that useless gob John Roberts.

Yep, the GOP demographic loves to smile and talk all about how they got scammed/bamboozled by every Trump org request for donations. I do enjoy knowing their money is going to his lawyers and a losing run for president.

Trump has raised a whopping $7.1 million since his mugshot was released by the Fulton County jail. Imagine thinking you finally humiliated Trump and then he immediately raises $7M. The massive fundraising haul was fueled by mugshot merchandise.

The Trump campaign also set a personal record by raising $4.18 million in a 24-hour period, the most ever for his campaign.

Talk about a backfire.

Ha, ok. If multiple indictments in several states is good for Trump, then have at it!! We wish him well!

There are a lot of gullible dumbasses in this country. It’s sad.

Again, I think that New York chose not to do this because this was entirely predictable. And again, most of this will be spent on legal bills rather than getting him elected. So…

It’s not a backfire because the only intent is to hold him accountable. He has been accused of crimes and now he can answer for his actions.

I also don’t believe a word his campaign says.

I have no idea why you would say that. A bunch of Americans, some of whom really can’t afford it, donate to this con artist to stick it to the man, the libs, the woke, whatever. They think they are supporting a political campaign. Instead they are being gulled into paying the legal bills of trump and his merry team of idiots. I find that terrible.

In the meantime, the legal machinery continues to churn.

Maybe they are happy to pay his legal bills. Twisted, but possible.

These are the same type of people who gave money to televangelists like Jim Bakker.

We had a neighbor we nicknamed “thug life”. It was not done out of admiration.

He is a force and he looks fierce. This was an enormous miscalculation by the prosecutor. The precedent of indicting a former president is something we will see again very soon.

It won't be enough to pay the lawyers, my dear. Don't get excited, whichever side you're on. The man's toast, but it's a slow burn, that's why a lot of people can't see it.

Sure, sure. I like that you're lulled into complacency. Keep buying mugs. It will be that much less you're going to spend on weapons and flights to the Capitol.
