OMG WHAAAAAAT????????? Oh I hope someone made a screen grab. Wow!! I’m the French poster who was born in the US and this is even crazier now. How do you claim a country when you’re not even born there? I mean if she had dual citizenship maybe I could understand a tiny bit but this is just wow. |

| I cannot believe this person. I’m Canadian and grew up speaking French in Montreal. I went to French immersions school and only had English for an hour a day. My parents are anglophone from Saskatchewan. I studied French in university and my job is French only. Never in my entire life -despite living in a French Canadian world- did I develop a fake ass French accent or forget how to say cucumber. She is a total fraud. I am living what she claims causes her ‘confusion’ and this is complete fabrication. The only thing I’ve ever said by accident in English is maybe something like close the lights or open the tv, because in French that’s how it’s translated to English. My English is perfect and she is a fraud. |

And it mainly started here, at dcurbanmom. The stories at Lipstick Alley and Datalounge have been up for years, but the chat here went viral and was probably the start of Tracie Egan Morrissey's research. |
