I am looking for ways to bring different whole grains into our meals-I've got brown rice and quinoa covered. We has a whole grain plate at kramerbooks and it was so Inspired. If I could cook like that I'd be eating so well. I think there was unhulled barley in one dish with parsnips and sweet potatoes. And some dark grain I did not know with greens. I think the grains had oil and herbs-not really a sauce. Also, do you use other oils from olive? Thanks!

I found this site (b/c I was the one looking for buckwheat recipes--also a whole grain):
http://www.wholegrainscouncil.org/recipes/cooking-whole-grains They have some recipes listed. I definitely want to check out the dish you had at Kramers. |
| We really like bulgur. We most often eat it with lentils and carmelized onions, but we just tried it with lamb and chickpeas and it was really good that way too. |

I really like the Monday to Friday Cookbook:
http://www.amazon.com/Monday-Friday-Cookbook-Michele-Urvater/dp/1563057484 She has a nice section on what to keep in a pantry as well as uses different kinds of grains in the recipes. |
