Whole grains

I am looking for ways to bring different whole grains into our meals-I've got brown rice and quinoa covered. We has a whole grain plate at kramerbooks and it was so Inspired. If I could cook like that I'd be eating so well. I think there was unhulled barley in one dish with parsnips and sweet potatoes. And some dark grain I did not know with greens. I think the grains had oil and herbs-not really a sauce. Also, do you use other oils from olive? Thanks!

I found this site (b/c I was the one looking for buckwheat recipes--also a whole grain):
http://www.wholegrainscouncil.org/recipes/cooking-whole-grains

They have some recipes listed. I definitely want to check out the dish you had at Kramers.

We really like bulgur. We most often eat it with lentils and carmelized onions, but we just tried it with lamb and chickpeas and it was really good that way too.

I really like the Monday to Friday Cookbook:

She has a nice section on what to keep in a pantry as well as uses different kinds of grains in the recipes.
