Is 2nd grade an entry year anywhere?

I am giving a school another chance (been there 2 years), but if this year ends up disappointing...are there any schools where 2nd grade is an expansion year?

Not sure about the entry-year issue, but my guess is that in general for non-entry years, there would likely also be correspondingly fewer applicants (in other words, people know it isn't an entry year and so don't bother to apply). So the proportion of applicants to spots might not be that much worse than in entry years. Just a thought; I have no actual knowledge!
