I grew up in the Deep South and actually went to William and Mary and you’re correct. It is not southern.

I grew up in the south and lived for awhile in the very deep south. Most of my family members are William and Mary grads, including my mom and all her family. We think it's southern.

The architecture is southern. at least in a southern Jeffersonian colonial way.

Compare its campus to northern schools...
