I have never heard anything bad about the following:

Saoirse Ronan
Pierce and Keeley Smith Brosnan
Liam Neeson
Michelle Yeoh
Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves

Are you on the younger side? I mean that with no snark at all. It was pretty well known in the 90s that he was a huge stoner with a few run ins with the law. Great publicist again.

He seems like a nice guy without crazy issues.

She is clearly nuts.

Snoop did that interview with puppies thing and he is the only celebrity who did it sitting on a couch, rather than on the floor. I am guessing he refused to sit on the floor with the puppies. That's not normal.

Harry, who I love madly, deeply, and would marry if he asked, is not normal. At 16 his life changed and he has indulged a lot in what he can now access. He doesn't do anything normally.

So it’s not normal to not want a dog to poop and pee on you? 🤔

Harry is one of the few celebrities that takes public transportation and doesn’t have bodyguards or handlers with him when he’s out in public. Which is remarkable considering Harry’s fans are just as crazy as Swifties.

Everyone else just gets down on the floor. And they don't pee and poo on you - have you never spent time with puppies? They won't go to the bathroom ON a person. Near, yes. On, no. Every other celebrity risks it.

Yuck.

Liam Neeson can't stop getting drunk and peeing his pants in public. Otherwise seems like a nice guy.

I think you confuse him with David Hasslehof

Courtney cox and Jennifer Aniston have both had a ton of work. That doesn’t strike me as well adjusted. I think Jennifer Aniston seems like the type of person who is a great friend to people in her inner circle. But she is still absolutely a celebrity with A list standards. Just my impression.

Emily blunt seems to try too hard to be a cool girl. I feel like she and Jon krasinski used to have the cool couple next door vibes, mostly from his character on the office, but it turns out he has a reputation of being a jerk in real life.

Reese Witherspoon is probably another one who is really good to her family. But have heard firsthand that shes not warm in real life. Maybe that isn’t the same as well adjusted. Also, she famously drove drunk and threatened a police officer “do you know who I AM?” That doesn’t scream well adjusted to me.

I am curious how people in this thread think they, personally, would be like if they were famous.

I think people assume they'd just be the same as they are now, all the time, to everyone, and this is almost certainly not true.

I think if I were famous, I'd be incredibly standoffish in public because I'm just a very private person. But I'm also very warm and loyal, if I actually know you, even if we aren't close friends. I know I wouldn't go down the path of substance abuse or other pitfalls (I have family members with substance abuse issues and decided at a very young age I'd just mostly steer clear of drugs/alcohol and have) but I don't always deal really well with intense pressure or stress, so I could see myself having mental health issues if the pressure of fame became very intense.

I think most people would describe me as normal and well-adjusted, but no person is infallible and I think fame tends to find the cracks and make them worse. If a celebrity seems perfect, I just assume that they just have an above average team around them who ensure the public doesn't see that aspect of their lives.

Anonymous wrote:I think normal is different than well adjusted. Take Dave Grohl, for example. I practically worship him and agree he seems pretty well adjusted and like a wonderful guy. But it’s pretty well known that he and his wife have an understanding that he can sleep around when he’s on the road or at least they did years ago.

Is that normal? I mean, I imagine most of us don’t have that understanding or situation with our husband and father of our children, but I can see why she would put up with it. He seems like a great dad and they have a great life. If she divorced him, I’m sure financially she would do fine, but a couple years later he would just end up marrying someone else and probably having more kids with her and that would really affect and split the time with her kids and they wouldn’t do things as a family. Plus, I imagine she’s playing the long game and he’s probably settled down quite a bit now that he’s in his 50s and doesn’t do that as much. Would be hard to divorce him in his early 40s to see him get married and settled down with someone else.

I doubt most of us would put up with that from our “normal” husbands.

BTW I’ve heard the same about Matt Damon.

Different strokes and all that, but this is one heck of an extended justification for accepting a partner's infidelities. You OK?

LOL. I kind of love Dave Grohl. I don’t know. I think if we were married and I had his 3 kids I might overlook some things. For Matt? No f-ing way. I’ve never found him appealing.

Google image search Liam Neeson pees pants. He doesn't all the time.

Debbie Allen is a diva. Watch the special “Hot Chocolate Nutcracker.” She’s a force of nature and has built a career and a company with grit and talent. But that’s not remotely the same as being grounded and well adjusted.
