| I cook everything in the slow cooker overnight, then transfer the cooked dish to the fridge in the morning, and reheat at dinner time. It takes me too long to prep a slow cooker meal in the morning. |

I've done the browning in advance and then put everything in the fridge. Not sure this is recommended, but it worked fine for me.
