If your child has a documented disability and you live in Fairfax County, there is a "Talking Books" program. I think it is a subscription based program that will lend you books on tape (CD?) for listening or to help your child with reading along. I believe these are postage paid mailed directly to you at no cost to you to borrow. Contact Daniel Ramos 703-324-8384. It is a Fairfax County progam. He may know of similar programs in other counties.
