Marsala wine..how long does it last

I love chicken marsala...but always have left over wine. How long does it last once opened and do I store in fridge or not? Should I try freezing it in cubes so that I can just pull it out next time or will that change the flavor? I am always buying a bottle and throwing 2/3 of it away after I make it. Anyone else have this problem and a solution? Thanks.

Marsala is a fortified wine. It will not go bad and will last for months after you open it. It is not necessary to freeze it or to store it in the refrigerator. Storing it in the pantry is fine.

I've had it last for YEARS! Seriously thought it would be bad but was just as good as when we opened it. I love chicken marsala too!
