Conditions at Great Falls National Park

Was thinking of taking my son biking there today.
Does anyone know if the trails there are usable? I was worried that the storms may have destroyed them.
Any other good biking trails? (Just moved here)

I don't know, but I think there is a number you could call to check with the rangers on their web site.

My ILs wanted to take my kids there for a hike today--same thing, no answer. Would appreciate any inside information!

Are you talking about GF Park, VA? I think they only have mountain bike trails there and I'm sure they are muddy. GF, MD part of C&O Canal Park has flat trails that road bikes can bike along -- but not after 5 days of rain. Stay on pavement. Rock Creek Park in DC is closed in the daytime on Sundays try that.

The park in VA does have some flat areas to bike. Not sure what their trials look like.

I'd imagine the river is still pretty flooded, not sure how the park is. If they aren't answering I'd assume it's not open.
