Some buses are returning to schools - re: flooding

I'm hearing that some buses in some schools have had to return kids to school and have the kids call parents/guardians pick them up.

Sorry - FCPS. I think a couple Lake Braddock buses turned back.

wow, that is going to be a huge mess if all the parents have to pick up. our elem has over 800 kids.

somehow, I get a feeling some of these parents aren't going to be able to make it there.

I would assume it isn't all buses, but only ones that encounter flooding.

But if a large school bus can't make it through, will a parent in a small passenger car be able to?

Does anyone know which roads are flooded and closed?

No buses could get to Crossfield ES. (FCPS) Not sure how parents got in to pick up kids, but all kids got home eventually. The flooding was on Fox Mill Rd.
