No cervical fluid?

I stopped taking the BCP almost 3 months ago, and started charting at the beginning of my latest cycle (Day 1, June 16) using Fertility Friend. My BBT indicates that I ovulated 3 days ago but I haven't been able to detect any (or at least any substantial amount) cervical fluid since my period ended. I have tried checking internally as well as externally.

Just wondering if anybody else experienced this lack of cervical fluid after stopping the BCP? How long did it take for your cervical fluid to return to "normal"?

Honestly, it took me 2-3 years for my cycle to return to normal when I went off the BCP many years ago (I was on Ortho-Novum 7-7-7 for years).

I've heard that taking mucinex around ovulation time can help increase cervical fluid. I didn't notice any change myself, but I've read about it in many places. Also, drinking lots of water can help.

Mucinex helps. I took it this cycle and I noticed the difference. Actually when I conceived my first child, precisely on that cycle I took Rubitussin and it happened, coincidence? I don't know. I will be able to see if it really worked this time in 10 days.
