I think she means guys reaching out to her in a private message (direct message - DM) and being creepy. Either way, I'm really tired of her 'look at me look at me!' statuses. I feel like she's just reaching for anyone to give her any type of attention, no matter how bizarre the post is.

"Goes down in the DM" is a reference to a rap song that's out right now..I think it means flirting/sending nude pics in direct/private messages on social media.

So she's saying these fellas who have "reached out" aren't doing so to get nude pics, they've "somehow connected with [her]..."

Does anyone else feel like this? I was a Kane show fan for a long time, I like Danni, and I'm pissed about the way they handled her leaving, but ever since she left, I feel like Rose is way over the top. Don't get me wrong, I do like Rose but I feel like they asked her to speak up a lot to mask Danni's absence and it's like way too much for me. She seems like 10 times more bubbly than she used to be and doesn't always add much to the conversation. Every time she talks, I'm just thinking "calm down!"

Well this def isn't the "I love the Kane show" forum. I haven't listened in years bc of how much I started to dislike Kane. All my friends still listened to the show and didn't get why I had gotten weird vibes from him. Shortly after I started saying that, the whole divorce announcement happened and it's been a train wreck ever since. A lot of us came here to be like wtf, and I for one like to check in to see what's going on since I refuse to listen.


There's really no point coming into a thread hundreds of pages long and being like omg why do people post here. Bc they want to. If they want to spend some downtime gossiping about a local radio show, that's their prerogative.

I wasn't the one who asked the post you responded to, I asked the one before it. I agree that I don't understand why people care who is posting here and whether they like Kane or not. My question was more in confusion of why someone would 'have high hopes' that Kane would be off this morning, as if implying that they wanted a new morning show to be on, when all they need to do to achieve that is change the station. I don't listen to Kane anymore either, I replaced listening to the replay with listening to Sarah's podcast, but I also don't say that I wake up to hope he's off air, because it just seems silly.

Gotcha. I think there's some of us that want to see some kind of consequence for being shady or a dick or whatever. When he went off about his wife on air, even if you believe or not, I think the general consensus was that was 1) too much drama for a morning show and 2) really messed up. At that point his ego and belief in his popularity was at an all time high. Especially when afterwards he deleted it from the podcast...it removed him from being the likeable dad and he morphed into a narcissist. Not that I want to people to be without a job, but seeing some kind of decline after that is appealing. Also, the show going off the air would kind of be the end of story to this big Danni confusion since no one is giving answers.

Of course we are all giving way too much thought about them. Anytime I talk about it I'm like ah this is so dumb. But here I am...haha

I mostly just want to see IJ learn a lesson or get put in his place a little. He's extremely self righteous and downright rude. I don't want him to lose his job, but I do want him to understand that treating people the way he does has consequences. I also find his blind defense and worship of Kane to be a little creepy. He can't handle criticism. And I don't appreciate that he was primarily the one who went after Sarah and Mel publicly and blatantly lied to listeners in writing about Danni. His smugness and holier than thou attitude is the real reason I can't stand the show anymore. Danni was irritating but seems like at her core she might just be a genuinely good person who is lacking self confidence and makes up for aggressively. IJ is just downright intolerable and is a huge dick.

Someone needs to turn down Rose's mic. The volume is way too high and she's like a puppy who shrieks all the time, loudly at that.

At least Sarah can admit that she's very ignorant and privileged but she's willing to learn. Danni, on the other hand, is too self-righteous it's hopeless. Out of all this drama, I can't believe she's still continuing to run her mouth.
