Trump's rambling speech today

OMG! Thanks, grandpa!

It’s all around her. Hopefully, one day, she’ll meet a good and decent person who will model goodness for her.

I would completely support the next debate taking place in a McDonald’s kitchen, where the candidates answer questions while working the fry machine.

For real though: Every candidate for office should have to do jobs like these for at least a day. They should also ride public transportation, and sit with constituents who have chronic diseases as they navigate their health insurance. They should grocery shop for a week’s worth of meals with the same budget as a median voter.

Which candidate would do better by these measures, do you think?

I'm fairly certain Trump doesn't know how the real world works. He'd be fired within a day acting like this in a place of employment.

That P O Poop sure looked a lot younger back then in the terrible old days. He looks like the cryptkeeper version of that guy now.

To be fair, I feel like I aged 300 years during his presidency.

yeah same

Must be a tough job to babysit crazy Uncle Donnie https://www.nytimes.com/live/2024/09/26/us/harris-trump-election

Donald J. Trump is speaking at a lectern in the lobby of Trump Tower, reading from notes in an attempt to frame Harris’s border trip tomorrow.

There is a huge effort by the Trump staff to get him to stick to a script, and to focus on the economy. He vastly prefers talking about immigration, and this event feels like his staff giving him a treat.

Trump ramping up his crowds, making them chant to get out pet-eating Hatians, gives me chills. Talk about evil.

He reiterated his killing of the immigration bill. Builly for Trump.

I can only find questionable sources so far but allegedly Fox abruptly cut the feed to Trump’s latest diatribe after he went off on the lack of quality in furniture, and this was directed at North Carolina furniture makers who are still very much making furniture. I guess they can’t let the audience hear too much of Trump being insane.

Indeed they did.

Whoops that was the cutaway today. Here’s when they cut away from the furniture manufacturing blather a couple days ago.

This thread is funny. It started in January about one speech on one day, yet has been updated for nine months because every time he appears in public means a new unhinged speech.

They’ll do anything to keep the average Republican voter insulated from the truth of Trump’s dementia.
