Frozen Meals

Anonymous
I have family visiting in a couple of weeks and do not have time to be cooking dinners. Can anyone recommend a place where I can buy good quality, tasty, frozen meals that can be easily put in the oven at dinner time? Thanks

Costco has a lot of good family style frozen foods like lasagna for good prices.

Trader joes.

Or one of the meal places like Dinner Done.

Costco has a decent pot roast that you can microwave.
They also have chicken breasts stuffed with rice, cheese and broccoli that you just throw in the oven. Both keep for a bit in the fridge.

BJ's (Costco used to) has carnitas that go from fridge to table in about 20 min. Have a taco night out of them. Yum!

Not sure where you are but Vace in Bethesda (and D.C.) has some nice frozen meals. Balducci's might too -- not sure about that one. Obviously, both places are more expensive than Costco or BJ's...

I second Vace and Trader Joe's. Great lasagna and eggplant parm. You'd need to provide veggies, salads, etc.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am in NW DC so do not have access to Costco or BJs. Plus, I am not a member of either.

How about Stouffers family size frozen food from the grocery store? They have lasagna but not sure what else.
