I thought I'd post in this forum too - maybe get more recommendations:
Husband and I are having a smallish cocktail party at our house. We expect about 25 people. I thought it would be a nice touch to have a bartender to serve drinks. Please recommend a good and reasonably priced bartender in the NW DC or Chevy Chase/Bethesda area. Also, for those of you that have done this before, how does it work? Do I provide liquor, mixers, glasses, linens, or does the bartender do that? Thanks. |

| You provide everything the bartender will need. Ask at your favorite bar/restaurant for a rec. |

Check out these guys:
http://www.tendit.net I used them recently and they were AMAZING. Very cheap and got me a lot. They helped me plan everything (what drinks to serve, how much to buy, what to buy, etc), helped me setup, picked up things for me when I forgot them, reminded me to put the green beans in the oven (hahaha!), made fabulous drinks, and then even helped me clean up after the event! They charged me like $100 for the whole party and I tipped the bartender another $100--absolutely worth it! The next lowest quote I found from another place in the area was like $400-gross! |
| Thank you! I tried them out recently and gotta add my recommendation too! Very very good |

Theprivateprofessionals.com Have used them multiple times, as have colleagues. We love him. Takes care of everything, and does the dishes. We supply the food, and they take care of the party for us. They will give you prices upfront too. |
