It must have a low carb content ( I can only have 50g of carbs/day). I have never taken those before and I need on a strict diet (liquids only, 50g carbs/day) for one week as a pre-op. After the surgery I can have as many carbs as I want, but I will still be able to only have liquids for 2 weeks - and they must see the type "see through", so not dense.
Suggestions are appreciated and welcome!! |
| I use Greens and Whey protein powder. I also used to get some other protein mix at GNC but haven't been to GNC since moving to DC. You might want to go and talk with them. I mix Greens & Whey with other stuff. |

EAS makes a pretty good protein supplement. If I remember correctly I payed $25 for a 5lb bag at Costco. I've also heard that GNC doesn't always list everything that goes in their product. Supposedly it is not FDA approved. Then again not much at GNC is. EAS is one of only a hand full of companies that are actually bonded to an agreement saying there are no fillers or anything that maybe harmful... Just what I've heard only about being bonded.
Progenex is also supposed to be a really good one but is $60 a bag. |
