If it was gonna happen, 29 was the year it had to happen.

Here’s why: MDDC 30s are ranked #108 and the 31s are ranked #66.

They’ll have to wait until 2032 for their next potential shot (that team is currently ranked #15).

But they’ll face a big problem in BLC. Unlike the 29s, BLC has stronger teams in the pipeline in the foreseeable future whose players will likely head to Capital: BLC 30s are ranked #10, 31s are ranked #15, and the 32s are ranked #8.

MDDC 29s couldn’t keep their best players from leaving for Capital despite a current ranking of #14 (compared to BLC at #25.)

Tough sledding ahead for MDDC
