I think that the cautious approach may have been the correct approach at the time, considering that cases were rising in August. However, the emails reveal a deeply troubling attitude towards county residents that cannot be tolerated for someone in a position of public trust. If he was a Fed, he would not be a in a job. We should expect at least to have the same standards for county employees. |
I too have noticed this trend, and it is not just about this one issue. It seems to be about everything. It is really disturbing. |
This is “equity”. Improving one’s own position is too hard - so let’s divert attention from failure and blame and pull down everyone else. Gayles - in addition to not being intelligent - proves exactly what we all thought - this was political. |
| Gayles...a pitiful servant. A failure in every sense. Letting politics and bigotry lead his decision making. Laughable intellect and ability to problem solve. Welcome to government. |
Unfortunately T was still in office in summer so there were no federal funds available for schools to retrofit. |
The orthodontist asked what the criteria were for reopening. He asked for facts. My, how they got skewed by Gayle’s! |
What are the academic credentials of: Travis Gayles, Shantee Jackson, Tiffany Ward, James Bridgers? Lots of state school diploma mill dips*** energy in these exchanges. |
+1. Gayles: "no child gets ahead." |
| Why does this low IQ clown Gayles still have a job? What a waste of taxpayer money - just send him some cash and let someone competent fill his position. |
The irony of the exchange is that Tiffany Ward went to the Holton Arms School (and Tufts for college). They are all educated. That is not the issue. This was a political decision and one based upon their beliefs surrounding equity and privilege. |
Tiffany went to Tufts. |
he's black. Do you really think anyone could fire him? |
