Little Folks sent nearly ten children there last year I think. Same for the previous year. It's a lot of children, given how small Little Folks is....

20:40 I have a pre-K boy accepted to Sidwell and Beauvoir as well. Where do you think you'll end up?

20.40 poster here - Not sure PP, Just taking in the news. We liked both schools very much. Clearly they have many strengths in common. And some important differences as well.

From a feeder school ie: NCRC, River??

Not either but its definitely considered one of the top preschools in DC. I'd prefer not to say as it would be obvious then.

I am so glad I am from another country/planet and my child does not have to go through all of this meaningless race. I feel pity for you/your children....

No offense, PP, but why are you hovering on the forum then?
Anonymous
Why would you call it meaningless. Are you jealous that we have the opportunity to give our children the best education possible and maybe you can't afford it or your child isn't qualifed to even apply? Also, why are in the private school forum?

Wow. What an awful thing to say. Shame on you. Seriously, people like you give this forum a bad name. I hope/pray you will not be sending your child my kid's next year. I don't care what the poster said, don't ever call someone about affording to pay for education & their child being qualified. You REALLY don't get it. Do you?

I am actually giving my children an authentic education. The process of getting a child through all of this pain is meaningless. Education is not synonymous with tests, scores, connections, siblings, financial donations, political influence, etc. You guys are loosing it completely. I am in this forum because I am doing a PhD on private education issues and you are such a good sample for my qualitative research.
