College and University Discussion
Meh, that’s not unusual either. You sound provincial too. DP |
| You all are ridiculous. Of course owning a private jet is uncommon. Trying to act blasé about it just makes you sound silly. |
Not uncommon at an SEC school |
Sure...lots of kids at an SEC school own a 777 jet. You realize how idiotic you sound? It's a $1BN airplane completely built out. |
The weather in Alabama is not great, except perhaps the foothills in the northeast corner around Huntsville. |
You sure as hell wouldn’t know. |
I don't think this word means what you think it means. Probably that SEC education. |
It’s sunny and warm almost all the time — we visited in February and kids were in shorts. |
Better than your education. |
There are fewer than 15,000 private jets in the US. https://aircargoweek.com/analysis-reveals-scale-of-private-jet-fleet-in-the-us/ There are 132 million households in the US. 15,000/132,000,000 = .0113% |
You must have a different definition of "warm" than a lot of people. The average high temperature in Tuscaloosa in January is 56 degrees. The average high in February is 60 degrees. And it drops below freezing (32F) numerous times in the winter. https://weatherspark.com/y/13919/Average-Weather-in-Tuscaloosa-Alabama-United-States-Year-Round |
Good work! You obviously are unaware how many said private jets fly into SEC games. |
My kid has enjoyed the summer-like warm weather at Bama. It only recently started to turn chilly in the mornings and nights, but it’s still warmer during the day down there than up here. And spring starts earlier down there in terms of warmer weather. |
No matter how many, it’s a tiny fraction of the total game attendees. Making it, in fact, uncommon. |
