Am I in the wrong here or is my daughter?

I have an update. I have had enough of her attitude. She cam back from babysitting (5 hours) at 9:30 tonight and plopped straight down on her bed, checked her cat adoption emails and foster information, and then just started doing electronics. First of all, if she's complaining about being tired she should be in bed by now. If she was really tired instead of lazy she would be doing everything to get to bed as fast as possible. Second, my husband and I have told her that the cats stink. She needs to do the litterbox more often and also clean up their food bowls immediately otherwise it will start to smell. I tell her this as I am petting a kitten and entertaining another. She interrupts me and says "mom I know I know you don't need to tell me I do this every day" in a super rude tone. I reply telling her that she's doing it wrong and she needs to do it more and faster otherwise the foster cats are done. She gets all mad and says "please go upstairs you are making me mad" I found that super disrespectful of her to say to her own mother and told her that. I told her she has some nerve to be saying that and she and her attitude need to end right there. She keeps repeating please leave I'm getting angry. I left but am in disbelief how rude she can be when I'm just telling her what needs to be done. I also just came back from driving her home from babysitting and driving the other kids back from friends houses and activities and making dinner.

Troll or straight up Mommy Dearest. You're a terrible mother and I hope your seemingly pretty responsible and emotionally regulated daughter runs fast and far.

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer:
You are definitely in the wrong. Does this kid have ANY experience raising pets?! You can't trust a kid, teen or otherwise, to take full responsibility for anything. They barely take 2% of the responsibility for themselves.
But, to be fair, she is also in the wrong. She should not be yelling at her overworked and tired mother who clearly caters to her every whim. She, put simply, needs to shut the hell up.
I'd slap her across the face. You have the patience of a saint to come here.

This. Agree.

Really weird the mom didn’t let her sleep in.
