Why do some private sector workers hate Fed workers so much?

Sure. So you must be even more pissed off that the House of Representatives has been off for a month+ for no real reason, right?

No. Elected officials (fed, state, local) work extremely hard imo. Their “jobs” are their life, 7x24, 365. And if they get lazy, don’t perform, they get voted out. There is accountability for performance. Where is the accountability for civil service feds?

Wow. Your post is not borne out by facts. That explains a lot. Have a great night!

Honestly, I think there is a pervasive nihilism where like 40% of the working population are losers in life and blame their problems on anyone but themselves. Immigrants, government workers you name it.

They have given up on trying to get ahead and now are happy just to bring others down to their miserable level.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re so upset by these nameless feds who you’ve never met and don’t know but you are sure must exist and are wasting some tiny fraction of your tax dollars. And I’m sure you’re equally upset by the lazy workers in the private sector and the capitalists in the private sector who are wasting a larger fraction of the money you voluntarily spend on things. Yes, I get it. You’re emotional rather than rational.

P.S. if your only familiarity with federal benefits was a generation ago, you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Just like Vought. His wife RIFed him, so he’s taking it out in the feds.

Aha, you’re just another MAGA twat. Explains everything.

The only thing I hated recently is that one the acquaintances I know whose spouse was a fed who was impacted by job losses was trying to waltz into my private, non-government related company at a pretty high level. I have been in my industry for 20+ years and am not at that level. It felt really arrogant to me.

But that is one guy. If you have one a-hole at your workplace and he goes into government (never happen now, but just hypothetical), would you want all the federal workers to generalize to the rest of you based on that one a-hole? Of course not. Federal workers are a diverse group of people in terms of the skills they have, the work they do and the kind of people they are. Just like in...the private sector. Imagine that.

Are you so out of touch or just stupid that you don't realize that we have bosses we report to and performance reviews? WTF loser?

You can also blame ultra wealthy capital owners. They "trick" you with salary but horrible benefits (sub-par health insurance, abysmal sick/vacation days, poor working conditions etc) and then "badmouth" the government for offering people decent wages and benefits. This is all it's about. If these ultra wealthy capital owners can get away with no paying you they will absolutely do it. So these private sector workers become so bitter and start screaming that "their tax dollars" are being used to pay others to sleep on the job.

Yes, but as the contractor pp - there are some who essentially sleep on the job and after seeing it enough times it really gets to you.

And you never ever see this in the private sector? I know that is not true from talking to all my relatives, all of whom work in the PRIVATE SECTOR.

You are just perpetuating the myths spoon fed to you by the GOP to divide us.

I ask you though, if you're doing such a great job it must really piss you off seeing all those co-workers coasting along right? I was a DOD contractor for 5 years in the DC area and it was egregious how little some people did. They also didn't have to answer to anyone and had so many early releases/"trainings" etc they barely even had to show up.

Are you telling me you don't know anyone in the private sector who get paid for doing nothing lol?

a lot more on the gov side

You have zero basis from this claim. You are just talking out your ass.

You know what kind of people work for the government? ICE, that’s who.

It’s generally known that most (not all) federal employees are loafers who are rarely, if ever terminated for poor performance. The Fed workers are also well aware. I’m just really impressed with the defense being put up here.

I guess by “generally well known” you mean as stated on Fox News.

You wouldn’t be able to get a federal job if you tried. So jealous.
